Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, our performance schedule has continued to change over the past several months. We are excited to return to live performances at the Holland Performing Arts Center and Orpheum Theater soon! As we prepare to welcome you back, find out how we are planning to keep you safe here.

We have added several new shows and rescheduled other performances which we are sharing below.

 

Revised 2020/2021 Broadway Season 

We are looking forward to the return of Broadway touring shows at the Orpheum Theater! Although our season has turned out differently than we expected, we still have an incredible line-up of shows for you!

CATS: May 18–23, 2021
TOOTSIE: June 22–27, 2021 – NEW
FIDDLER ON THE ROOF: January 12–17, 2021  July 20–25, 2021
TO KILL A MOCKINGBIRD: April 20–25, 2021  February 8–13, 2022
MEAN GIRLS: Oct. 20–25, 2020  March 8–13, 2022

Don’t see one of your favorite Broadway shows? Don’t worry! We’re working hard to ensure you will still see many of those shows in upcoming seasons.

WHAT HAPPENS NEXT?
If you're a subscriber, the only action you need to take right now is to select your preferred option for the canceled shows A CHRISTMAS STORY and Disney’s FROZEN. You will receive an email announcement and will need to respond to the survey in it. If you don't have a subscription, new season packages are available. Individual tickets for these shows will go on sale at a later date.

*19/20 subscribers who had tickets to Anastasia will keep their tickets for the new date. 20/21 subscribers have the option to add this show on their season package.

What happens if my show is postponed or canceled?

Postponed
  • Keep your ticket and seat for the future date. We will announce the new date as soon as we are able.   
  • If you cannot attend the show's future date, please call Ticket Omaha at 402.345.0606 or email ticketomaha@o-pa.org to discuss your options.  
Canceled Shows  
  • Donate your ticket to Omaha Performing Arts
  • Receive a gift certificate to use for a future event
  • Receive a refund for the ticket amount

Where can I find the status of an upcoming performance?

This page will have the most up to date information on postponed or canceled performances.

How will I be notified if a performance has been rescheduled?

As soon as we have new dates confirmed for performances, ticket holders will be notified via email. Information will also be shared on social media, as well as updated on this page and Ticket Omaha. 

What if I cannot make the new date?

You may contact the Ticket Omaha Box Office to discuss your ticket options.

When will performances resume?

The health and safety of our patrons, staff, artists and community is our top priority. We are consulting with top medical professionals at UNMC and within our industry to create new safety protocols and make building and technology improvements that will allow us to safely welcome large crowds again. We look forward to welcoming you back as soon as it is safe to do so.

When will the box office open again if I want to buy in person?

The Ticket Omaha Box Office will resume in-person hours when it is safe for our venue to resume normal business hours. We're monitoring government mandates and will update you via email, social media and the Omaha Performing Arts and Ticket Omaha websites when it is safe to reopen.

Will I get a refund if I decide I'm uncomfortable attending a show?

The value of your ticket is safe. If you feel uncomfortable attending a show you may receive a credit for a future show or a refund.

What measures are being taken in your venues in response to COVID-19?

Enhanced Cleaning & Sanitation - Electrostatic technology disinfecting large common areas, enhanced sanitizing of high touch surfaces with hospital grade disinfectant and hand sanitizing stations throughout the venues 

Heating and Cooling System– Upgrades to air handling units includes bipolar ionization filtering out viruses through ventilation 

Staff Precautions –Staff and volunteers are required to wear face masks and receive temperature checks.  Anyone with a temperature above 100° or experiencing symptoms will not be permitted on-site  

Touchless Experience - Faster and more efficient entry into the venues with touchless security checks, ticket scanning and cashless transactions  

Social Distancing – Social distancing guidelines will be followed in the venues as much as possible
