Valet parking is available for most events at the Holland Center. Order in advance at 402.345.0606 or in-person beginning two and a half hours before the event.
Metered street parking on the south side of Douglas Street across from the Holland Performing Arts Center will be closed until the Gene Leahy Mall redevelopment project is completed. On Douglas Street, the meters from 10th Street to 14th Street will be removed. On Farnam, the meters between 13th and 14th will be removed. Sidewalks will be closed at these locations.
Event parking is available in the Omaha 13th and Dodge Street garage starting two hours prior to performances.

The Holland Performing Arts Center is one of the finest venues in the country with widely celebrated acoustics and dynamic room configurations. The 2,000-seat Peter Kiewit Concert Hall is modeled after European "shoebox" shaped halls and detailed with fine-grained woodwork. The Suzanne and Walter Scott Recital Hall, a flexible "black box" space with seating for 350, features a similar feeling of warmth. When you rent the Holland Performing Arts Center, our staff will work closely with you on every detail.

Key community leaders engage Heritage Services to work with HDR on a design for a possible performing arts center.

The Omaha Performing Arts Society (later Omaha Performing Arts) announces a fundraising campaign including $10 million in Orpheum renovations and funding for a performing arts center. The campaign eventually exceeds $107 million.
April 2002
Group selects site at 13th and Douglas streets for the new performing arts center that includes a 2,000-seat concert hall, a 350-seat recital hall and a courtyard.
April 2003
Omaha Performing Arts breaks ground for the new performing arts center to be constructed by Kiewit Construction Co.

Construction is finished.

The Holland Center opens to the public with a grand opening concert and ten days of festivities.
