From charming fans in Omaha, to wowing audiences at New York City’s famous Apollo Theater, Jocelyn, a singer and songwriter knows how to entertain a crowd. If you don’t know Jocelyn, get a good look at her photo. This Omaha native is making her mark in pop music. She has a powerful stage presence, voice, and her rhythmic guitar playing adds a unique feel to her performances.

As a songwriter, Jocelyn combines her observant outlook on life, love, and music to create memorable tunes that will stay in your head for days. Jocelyn compares her music to the likes of Ed Sheeran, Tracy Chapman, or Nora Jones. She thrives to make a connection with her fans with songs like “Never Change” and “Speak Up” that uplift and inspire. “I love being able to touch people's hearts or make them think or feel something they haven’t felt before” says Jocelyn.

At the age of 22 years old, Jocelyn is a five-time (youngest ever) Omaha Entertainment and Arts Awards nominee in the categories of best singer/songwriter, artist of the year, and winner for best pop artist. Jocelyn has impressed audiences across the Midwest and beyond. She’s been featured on “Celebrity Undercover Boss” with singer and songwriter Darius Rucker. She went on tour with the rock band Hootie and the Blowfish and the Canadian rock band Barenaked Ladies.

As a young artist, Jocelyn’s music serves as an inspiration especially for young people. Her songs “Love Letter” and “Good to Be Me,” remind listeners about the power of self-acceptance and confidence. Jocelyn not only sings about it but actively seeks to reach youth in the metro. Her latest local effort includes partnering with the Boys Town Hotline in the “Kindness Tour,” a program that encourages students and lets them know they are not alone. As part of the tour, Jocelyn is scheduled to perform at schools across the country, now she will take the kindness campaign online. Find out more about the Kindness Tour here.
