All ages. All levels. The Tenaska Center for Arts Engagement offers one of the region’s most dynamic collections of performing arts classes, camps, workshops, and professional training opportunities. Find everything from baby and toddler classes to audition workshops and acting camps for teens, to learning for adults and senior citizens — all designed to inspire confidence, build artistic skills, and create community through the power of the performing arts.

And if you’re serious about preparing for Broadway jobs and working in the entertainment industry, the Tenaska Center is your pathway. Train with working professionals and gain career insight and skills you can’t get anywhere else in Nebraska.

Where do we enter?

Entrance is located on on Dodge Street. 

Is the Tenaska Center accessible?

The Tenaska Center is fully accessible. View accessibility resources available at the Tenaska Center for Arts Engagement. 

Where do I park?

Garage, street, and accessible parking options are available. Learn more.

  • Event parking is available in the Omaha Park Eight garage*. Omaha Park Eight is located at 13th & Dodge Streets, with a second entrance at 12th & Capitol. You can prepay to reserve $3 event parking using ParkMobile (garage is listed as 12th and Capitol). The garage also accepts cash and credit card at the gate and costs $5 on site.
  • Meters run 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM Monday through Saturday. Sundays and holidays are free. 
  • Limited accessible parking is available on a first-come, first-served basis in the Arrival Plaza and along Douglas Street. 

*Parking garages are not affiliated with O-pa. Garages are operated by the City of Omaha.

Is there construction nearby?

A little, but don’t let it stop the fun! We recommend giving yourself a little extra time to navigate to the venue. Thank you for your patience and continued support! 

Major closures:

  • 14th Street is closed between Douglas and Farnam Streets. 
  • The Farnam Street bridge is closed until December 2026.

What should we wear?

There is no dress code at the Tenaska Center. Come in whatever you feel comfortable in. You may want to wear clothes that allow for freedom of movement so you can participate fully in our classes.

What is security like at the Tenaska Center?

Express security scanners will provide a touchless experience that does not require emptying of pockets or bags.

Is smoking allowed on site?

No smoking, including e-cigarettes, is allowed in the building or FNBO Garden.

If you notice you’ve lost something during your visit, check at the front desk or ask an Ambassador or staff member. You can also contact the security desk at 402.661.8555 to see if your lost item was turned in.
