The Heart Sellers Directed by Wai Yim event hosted by Bluebarn Theatre
Feb 5 – Mar 1 | Bluebarn Theatre
The Heart Sellers is a poignant and gently humorous play that explores identity, belonging, and friendship through the lens of the immigrant experience. Set in 1970s America, it follows Luna and Jane, two Asian immigrant women who meet on Thanksgiving. Over the course of one evening, their growing bond becomes a lifeline—and a revelation. The Heart Sellers shines a light on the often-overlooked stories of immigrant women, offering a heartfelt exploration of what it means to find connection, hope, and a sense of belonging in a new world.
ASL Interpreted Performance: Friday, February 20 at 7:30 PM.
* At O-pa, we want our programming to reflect the community. That’s why we partner with local leaders who help us keep our core values at the heart of everything we do. We’re excited to spotlight VAMP Committee Member Wai Yim, who is directing The Heart Sellers at Bluebarn Theatre.
