Saturday, June 5 marked the beginning of Music at Miller Park, and we couldn’t have asked for a better evening to kick off the new summer concert series. A break in the humidity, a breeze under the trees, and Enjoli & Timeless “keeping the party going” as promised with rich vocals and smooth-swaying R&B brought nearly 500 people to the Miller Park Pavilion. Attendees brought chairs and blankets and enjoyed food and beverages during an evening that opened with 17-year old singer-songwriter Grace Titus and ended with a multi-generational crowd doing the electric slide as Enjoli & Timeless played its last songs.

The free, community-sponsored series was created to bring local and nationally recognized R&B/Soul performers to an area of Omaha with a rich history of jazz, soul and R&B — including performances from legendary musicians such as Louis Armstrong, Ray Charles and Duke Ellington along North 24th Street.
