"I've been going to the summer concert series in Miller Park for 3 years. It's magically social, like a reunion amongst so many friends...There's something about live music amongst so many friends that's healing to the soul.""
— Mona Lisa King-Ward, Attendee
history of miller park
Miller Park is in an Omaha area with a rich history of jazz, soul, and R&B music dating back to the 1920s. Some may remember the performances of legendary musicians such as Louis Armstrong, Ray Charles, and Duke Ellington along North 24th Street. We’re pleased to bring this concert series to the Omaha community, and we encourage families to come out and enjoy a summer evening immersed in incredible live music and vibrant culture!

How early should I come to get a good spot?
The lawn officially opens for the concert at 5:00 PM, but there is plenty of grass (and shade!) to go around.
Where should I park?
There’s a parking lot next to the pavilion, as well as parking spaces throughout the park. Please avoid parking on the grass! Free overflow parking may be available at Mandela Elementary School’s garden lot (30th & Curtis Streets) and Trinity Lutheran Church lot (30th & Redick Ave).
Will there be food or drinks available?
There may be an occasional food truck, and you can always bring your own or grab something from the area Baker’s, Dollar Fresh Market, or convenience stores.
What happens if it rains?
Generally the show will go on, unless the storm endangers the safety of the artists and attendees! If that’s the case, an announcement will be made from stage and/or on Omaha Performing Arts’ social media.
