RECIPE: A taste of Skyview Terrace, now open at the Holland Center

What’s the recipe for a perfect summer night out? We think we’ve figured it out at Skyview Terrace, our new rooftop bar at the Holland Performing Arts Center. Just combine cold drinks, beautiful views and great company. The bar opened Monday and will be serving up cocktails, wine, beer and small plates all summer long, Monday through Thursday, 4:30 PM to 10:30 PM.

We wanted to give you a taste of our Skyview Terrace menu, created by our catering partners at Guckenheimer. Mix up this simple summer cocktail – you could sip it from home, but it’s even better with a view.

RECIPE: SKYVIEW SUNSET

Ingredients

• 3 oz. orange juice
• 2 oz. light rum
• 2 tbsp. grenadine
• Cherry and orange slice, for garnish

Directions

1. Combine orange juice and rum. Set aside 1/3 of the mixture.
2. Pour 2/3 of the orange juice mixture into ice-filled glass. Set aside.
3. Mix reserved orange juice and rum with 2 tbsp. grenadine. Slowly pour into each glass so it settles on the bottom, creating an ombré effect.
4. Garnish with orange slices.
