Aug. 26, 2021 wrapped up the second Singer-Songwriter Showcase of the summer. O-pa and Omaha Entertainment and Arts Awards (OEAA) partner on this opportunity for aspiring Omaha musicians to perform in a professional setting, meet their creative community and be considered to be the opening act for a future O-pa performance.
Urn — whose solo project title recently changed to Ebba Rose — was chosen by OEAA from the nineteen incredible artists that shared their music!
“The singer-songwriter showcase was truly a cathartic experience for me,” said Ebba Rose. “I hadn’t performed my original music solo while accompanying myself on a stage in years, but was incredibly eager to get back to my roots. O-pa provided me with a safe, inclusive space to share my original music, and for that I am forever grateful! It was definitely one of the most influential shows I’ve played thus far, and I absolutely cannot wait to perform again next year.”
You can follow Ebba Rose on Instagram and TikTok at ebbaorwhateva and on Spotify and streaming services.
Big thanks to all our participants and everyone who came out to show their support for local talent this summer!
