What venues are available to rent?

What types of events can your spaces be rented for?
None of our venues are available to rent for political fundraisers.

What are the available rental hours? Is there a minimum rental period?
Rental hours are available from 8:00 AM to 12:00 AM. We can accommodate one-hour to full-day events.
How far in advance should I book the venue for my event?
We’re flexible and can turn out events on very short notice! You can also book an event up to a year in advance.
What needs to happen to secure a date for my event?
A signed contract and deposit are required to secure the date.
Policies
What is your cancellation policy?
When canceling up to 90 days prior to your event, your deposit is 100% refundable.
When canceling 90 days or less prior to your event. your deposit is not refundable.
Do you have liability insurance or is it required for events?
You are required to provide liability insurance for your event.
Can I bring my own vendors (DJ, photographers, etc.) or are there preferred vendors?
You’re welcome to use your own vendors, and we also have a list of preferred vendors we can provide.
Are there any restrictions or rules for decorating the venue?
- Other than table decorations, no unapproved decoration of the facility is allowed. All linens, extraordinary tableware, centerpieces, votives, etc., must be rented or provided by Licensee.
- Nothing, including chart-pak paper, may be tacked, pinned, nailed, taped, or otherwise attached to any surface of the building or in the courtyard.
- No unapproved signage of any kind is allowed inside or outside of the building.
- Candles are allowed only if hooded, drip-less, or in glass containers. Open flames are not allowed.
- No environmentally harmful, unsightly products, or potentially dangerous materials may be used such as rice, glitter, confetti, bubbles, feathers, live rose petals, or fireworks, including sparklers (cold sparklers are permitted).
- Helium balloons are only permitted in Scott Hall and lobbies. All balloons must be tethered and weighted.
- Walls, draperies, and upholstery of the venues may not be nailed, taped, glued, or pinned in any way. This includes all areas of the dressing rooms, lobbies, and building exterior.

Is a deposit required?
A deposit of 50% of the venue rental rate is required to secure the event date.

What forms of payment are accepted?

Food & Beverage
Do you provide food and beverage services?
We provide exclusive in-house catering and beverage services. External providers are not permitted except for wedding cakes.
Is there a catering minimum?
There are no catering minimums. A $350 bar minimum can be applied to an event with low attendance and would be included in the contract phase of planning.
How does the bar work?
The bar is charged by consumption. You can choose to have the bar fully hosted (event host pays for guests), fully cash (guests pay for their own), drink tickets, or fully hosted until a set bar cap then switched to cash.
Do I get a tasting?
Weddings receive a guaranteed tasting within 6 months of the wedding. Tastings for private corporate events are not guaranteed and are approved depending on the type of event.
When do I have to give a final guest count guarantee?
Two weeks in advance of the event date.
Planning Your Event
Is there a designated contact person for the event on the day of the rental?
Yes! One event manager and one food & beverage manager.
Are the venues wheelchair accessible?
Yes! O-pa is committed to ensuring every visitor’s experience is accessible, safe, and extraordinary. View accessibility resources.
Is parking available for guests?
A small number of parking stalls are available at the Holland and Orpheum for the bridal party and clients. Parking garages can be arranged for guests to pay to park. Valet is an option and can be hosted or attendee-pay.
Will I need to rent anything myself?
Yes, linens, napkins, and decorations. For events at the Orpheum Theater, dinnerware and glassware must also be rented.
Do you provide audio-visual equipment?
Yes. Additional fees may apply.
What if we plan an outdoor event and it rains?
We will arrange for rain backups when booking outdoor spaces. We do a weather call 24 hours before the event to determine if the event needs to be relocated inside.
Do I have to handle cleaning up after the event?
No! We just ask that you remove any items you brought in.
