Are you planning to return to Omaha Performing Arts for a live performance? We’re excited to welcome you back! We’ve been working diligently to ensure that we’re protecting the health and safety of our patrons, staff, artists, volunteers and community. We’ve taken steps to improve our air quality, shows have a limited seating capacity for social distancing and masks are required at our venues. We’ve also added live streaming options for some performances. Learn more here.
As a reminder, the following changes have been implemented at Omaha Performing Arts:
- Heating and Cooling System – Upgrades to air handling units includes bipolar ionization filtering out viruses through ventilation
- Staff Precautions – Staff and volunteers are required to wear face masks and receive temperature checks. Anyone with a temperature above 100° or experiencing symptoms will not be permitted on-site
- Touchless Experience – Faster and more efficient entry into the venues with touchless security checks, mobile ticketing, ticket scanning and cashless transactions
- Enhanced Cleaning & Sanitation – Electrostatic technology disinfecting large common areas, enhanced sanitizing of high touch surfaces with hospital grade disinfectant and hand sanitizing stations throughout the venues
You can also witness these changes in our safety video. In September 2020, O-pa held some of its first indoor events since closing in March 2020 due to COVID-19. We’re pleased to report that patrons and artists visiting our venues have felt safe attending.
“We had an amazing experience at Omaha’s Holland Performing Arts Center. It’s a gorgeous theater with terrific sound, the perfect vibe for a traveling rock band. The entire staff and sound crew were professional, accommodating and fun to work with, and their care and concern for our safety during this pandemic instilled a confidence that enabled us to focus on our performance. I look forward to the next time we will be able to perform on that stage!” -Brian Vander Ark / The Verve Pipe
“I felt really safe with the social distancing in the bar area and once I got in the concert hall.” -Anonymous patron
We will continue to make the safety of everyone who visits our venues a priority.
As a reminder, mobile tickets will be the only delivery option for both season and single tickets and will apply whether tickets are purchased online or by phone. Shifting to mobile-only tickets will enhance your experience by providing a contactless and eco-friendly way to enter our theaters. Learn how to use mobile ticket delivery here.
