What to expect returning to the Holland Performing Arts Center

Heading to the Holland Center for a performance? As we reopen our venues, nothing is more important than the health and safety of our patrons, staff, artists, volunteers and community. Here’s what you can expect:   

Upon entering our venue, you will note a number of safety precautions we have implemented at the Holland Center.  The entrance is located on 12th Street, under the arrival plaza. The Douglas Street entrance at the front of the building will be closed for performances.

New express security scanners have been installed for touchless entry, which means no stopping, no bag checks. Masks are required at all times, unless consuming concessions in your designated theater seat or in our lounge areas.

When you arrive at the Holland Center, valet parking will still be available for most events. Make sure to order in advance at 402.345.0606 or arrive in-person beginning one hour before the event.  Additional parking can be found in the Omaha 13th and Dodge Street garage across from the Holland Center or at any metered street parking. Please note the surface parking lot on 12th and Dodge Street is permanently closed. Signage around the venue encourages social distancing and limits the number of patrons in the elevator at a time.

If you'd like to purchase a beverage or snack prior to your show, Ovations Bar & Lounge will be open near the venue entrances. The lounge area will be stanchioned off with a designated entrance and exit. Masks may be removed while seated in the lounge areas. Table signage will indicate which tables have been cleaned and sanitized. Please note, cashless transactions are required. Zinc at the Holland Center is temporarily closed. When exiting the lounge area, concessions may be taken into the concert hall, however, masks will be required while moving about the venue and concessions may not be consumed unless seated in your designated seat.

As you make your way to the stairs or elevators, you will notice new self-service ticket scanners have been installed. These will allow patrons to scan their tickets as we move to touchless entry at our theaters. Please have your mobile tickets ready to be scanned at this time.

To access your mobile tickets, download the Ticket Omaha app and log in using the account used to purchase the tickets. Go to “My Account & Tickets” and click “My Tickets.” Select the event you are attending, and a barcode will appear for scanning. Please note, barcodes will appear 48 hours prior to the event. If you need to send a ticket to friends or family, simply click on the ticket then “Send to a Friend” and the tickets can be emailed with ease. If you have questions regarding the performance or would like to purchase additional tickets, please visit our renovated Welcome Center to speak with a patron services representative.

Entering the concert hall, you will notice many seats/rows have been blocked off to allow for social distanced seating. This is an effort put in place to keep our patrons safe during our performances. Please do not remove the signage and only sit in your designated seat. When program books are provided for a performance, they can be found in the Ticket Omaha app. More information regarding the program books will be provided prior to your performance.
