Student Matinee Series

Set the stage for learning and treat your students to a show! The Student Matinee Series offers performances specifically geared toward young audiences. These daytime shows by touring artists bring learning to life by connecting the arts to a variety of school subjects and select state standards for grades K-12. Virtual options are available for select shows.

  • Tickets are $4 for students and teachers
  • Subsidized tickets and busing reimbursement available for schools that demonstrate financial need

Gravity & Other Myths is an Australian circus company pushing the boundaries of contemporary circus.  Their show A Simple Space features seven acrobats who push their physical limits without reserve with high human towers, a backflip competition, and feats of acrobatic skill that will amaze and astound. The family friendly performance is driven by live percussion and presented so intimately that you can feel the heat and hear every breath.

Rae Wynn-Grant has dedicated her life to ecological research and conservation. As a scientist with National Geographic Society’s Last Wild Places Initiative, she works to protect and restore iconic wildlife populations, including North American black and grizzly bears. But when the wild lands of their habitat are crisscrossed by roads, fences and ranches, how can bears and humans coexist peacefully? Dr. Wynn-Grant intends to find the answer.
