About Jared Hiscock
Baritone Jared Hiscock is a Holland Community Opera Fellow with Opera Omaha. In December of 2020 he received his DMA from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln Glenn Korff School of Music. During the 2019 summer season Jared performed Guglielmo in Così fan tutte with Vocal Academy of Orvieto in Città della Pieve, Italy, and Marquis de la Force in Dialogues of the Carmelites with Saltworks Opera in Cape Charles, VA. Jared spent two seasons doing educational outreach with the professional opera touring company Opera for the Young, performing Power House in the world premiere of Super Storm! by Scott Gendel and the Sea-King in Rusalka. Recent credits include Dr. Malatesta in Don Pasquale, Don Alfonso in Così fan tutte, Friedrich Bhaer in Little Women, as well as the baritone soloist in works such as Orff’s Carmina Burana with the Mankato Symphony Orchestra, Vaughan Williams’s Five Mystical Songs with conductor Ernest Richardson, and the Nebraska premiere of The Wound-Dresser.
